At the Link Centre we provide the opportunity for people to train as psychotherapists and counsellors as well as short introductory courses and Continued Professional Development workshops.

Our flexible part-time courses can lead to national and international qualifications. We take pride in offering quality training, resulting in professional, ethical, competent practitioners. Upcoming Courses in Transactional Analysis and Counselling

Certificate in Counselling Skills: Friday 20th - Monday 23rd August 2010

4 Day - 9.00am to 5.30pm each day

This course is for those wanting to learn counselling skills for the first time or to improve and develop existing skills. It is a multi-level group with an emphasis on learning from each other. The number of tutors will vary depending on group size and the aim will be one tutor to every six participants. Sessions will be tailored to the needs of those attending.

TA101 Course - 9th / 10th October 2010

Two day introduction - 12 hours

This course will introduce some of the main concepts of TA including: life script, psychological games, ego states and transactions. We will look at how to relate these concepts to others and ourselves and identify alternative options for our behaviour and communication.
