Our Philosophy

At the Link Centre we provide the opportunity for people to train as psychotherapists and counsellors. Our flexible part-time courses can lead to national and international qualifications. We take pride in offering quality training, resulting in professional, ethical, competent practitioners.

Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside (view map), The Link Centre was founded in 2004. Registered by the ITA (Institute of Transactional Analysis [1]), all our trainers abide by the ITA code of ethics and professional practice.

The Office for National Statistics found more than a quarter of the population has psychological symptoms. In 2004 the NHS spent more than £380m on anti-depressants. Following the House of Lords Select Committee Report (2000) recommending that alternative medicines be available to all, counselling and psychotherapy has become more accessible. Over 40 per cent of doctors surgeries in the UK now employ a counsellor.
