(Coming 2025-26)Exam Preparation/CPD Group – 7 days Online

Once people have completed their formal TA training it can often be challenging to maintain momentum and focus in the exam prep period whether for diploma, accreditation or CTA. We would like to offer on ongoing group (6 days over 10 months) to support students on the final leg of this journey and a collegial environment that will give challenge, motivation and focus to achieve whatever your goal might be.

The group will be facilitated by Rebecca Davies, PTSTA (P),  CTA (P), CTA Written Exam Coordinator, CTA Exam Chair and EATA Language Coordiantor and Jane Tillier, PTSTA (P),  CTA (P). During the course of a day a range of subjects will be covered such as: theory discussion, client and tape selection, mock exams, answering questions (written and oral), theoretical discussion, desensitisation and anxiety management, ethical dilemmas and tensions, knowing your marking sheet, practical issue such as which recording equipment to use and how to present written work, supervision on exam process/clients and anything else focused on the exam process. The content of the days will be contracted for at the beginning of each day depending on the needs and wants of the group members.

Recognition: A Link Centre CPD certificate will be presented at the end of the course
