Jazz Rehal

Jazz is an individual and couple counsellor, tutor and supervisor with a private practice in Berkshire. She has experience teaching at Metanoia and TA East, has worked at NHS Talking Therapies, with long term clients at a local Counselling Service, as well as co-facilitated a male survivors group.
Jazz sees the power of Transactional Analysis and the healing nature of Group work as a significant opportunity to understand difference in relation to the self, other and between.
Jazz is curious about the ways in which structural, systemic, and cultural oppression can barrack people from fulfilling the potential of their lives and working with these processes.
Jazz’s philosophy is that human beings are born into groups, live in groups (Berne’s Imago, 1966) and the need to belong is a powerful, fundamental, and pervasive motivation of primitive human cultures (Baumeister and Leary, 1995). She holds the view that the person is comprehensible only within a relational matrix.
She is delighted to be joining The Link Centre as a primary tutor and is very much looking forward to working with the Foundation year group in October.
