Once people have completed their formal years of training input it can be challenging to maintain momentum and focus. Next steps can include preparation for diploma, for accreditations or for CTA. We are offering an ongoing online group to support trainees on the final stages of these journeys. The collegial environment will provide challenge, motivation and focus as a way of enhancing your own work and commitment to achieve whatever your goal might be. There will be opportunities to learn and grow together in the large group, in small groups and in scaffolded times alone.
Each session will explore a range of subjects including:
-Theory discussions
-Client and recording selections
-Mock exams, as required
-Answering written and oral questions
-‘Desensitisations’ and anxiety awareness
-Ethical dilemmas and tensions
-Understanding learning outcomes and marking criteria
-Sharing info re practical issues (e.g. recording equipment, presenting written work)
-Supervision around exam processes and the related clinical work
Each session will begin with a contracting process to tailor the content to the group’s needs and goals.
Participants: Maximum number of 12 participants.
Group hours: 36 hours. Live and interactive via Zoom. Sessions will not be recorded.
Recognition: A Link Centre CPD certificate will be presented.
