Have you considered studying counselling and/or psychotherapy?
When you first start investigating courses it can be confusing. There are so many different theories, training providers, costs and qualifications and it can be hard to know which is the best direction.
Training in this area takes time, commitment, money and personal application. The quality of courses offered and the career choices they lead to vary drastically across the market. We encourage applicants to pick carefully to find a training provider aligned with their future goals.
If you would like to know more about our transactional analysis courses and the process of becoming a fully qualified counsellor or psychotherapist, we can help.
This one-hour presentation will help you to understand what we offer at The Link Centre and the various routes you can take to achieve your goal.
This course is for those who have attended the TA101 and have been inspired to deepen their knowledge of TA in an environment that is collegial, supportive, and developmental. This course can be taken as a stand-alone course and is also the first year for those wanting to continue on to our counselling and psychotherapy courses.
This two-day or four-evening internationally recognised course is our most popular course. You will come away with new ideas, perspectives and models that you can use in every area of your life. People who attend this course come away with real insight into their own process and others and gain useful practical ideas of how to do things in a way that serves them better.
For those wanting to qualify with a level, 6 accredited Diploma in Counselling and be registered on a PSA (Professional Standards Authority) voluntary government register for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
For those wanting to gain an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and/or a Certified Transactional Analyst (Psychotherapy) CTA which gives access to UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) registered Psychotherapists.
