We are pleased to announce this new and improved Counselling Skills MOT Workshop series.
This workshop is designed to work for those at all stages of their training and clinical practice. These workshops will utilise a reflective inquiry method that will enable participants at all stages of their training and practice to identify their growing edges.
Certificate in Counselling Skills
This newly designed Counselling Skills MOT Workshop has been designed with the following aims in mind:
- To support participants to identify where they are uniquely at with areas of their skills practice and to define a skills goal they would like to achieve during the workshop.
- To support participants to actively develop their skills through practice sessions designed to meet their goals.
- To provide opportunities to both reflect on and work on what process barriers may be interfering with the development of these skills.
- To provide an opportunity for participants at any stage of their training and/or post-qualifying career to address pertinent growing edges of their practice.
- To provide students with a 15-hour training certificate which can be counted towards their required training hours and/or CPD.
Counselling Skills and techniques
This Counselling Skills MOT workshop is designed to work for those at all stages of their training and clinical practice. The first of these workshops will be delivered by Rebecca Davies. Rebecca is an experienced and dedicated trainer who is passionate about developing the skills of her students.
Training Overview
There will be small group learning, exercises, practice, and feedback as well as time in the larger group. We will draw from a range of theories with an emphasis on the practical, learning skills to take away and use.
The skills taught in this training will enhance professional roles such as human resources, teaching, coaching, parenting caring roles and those with a customer interface.
Recognition: A Certificate in Counselling Skills will be presented at the end of the course. Students who complete the course may apply to attend The Link Centre’s Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy Course.
Course Delivery:
The workshop will be delivered online and will encompass breakout groups, practice skills sessions and larger group discussions.

An initial non-refundable deposit payment with the balance payable two weeks before the event. Alternatively, the whole payment can be made up front – please email for payment details.

Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable. 50% of remaining course payments will be refunded on cancellations with more than 7 days notice.
